4Cyl with GPVR Spoiler, facelift, Manual Aircon?

Post by Technikhaus »

Hey guys,
Does anyone know of a 4Cyl, 1999 FTO, with manual aircon?
That's what the pics seem to show of this one for sale...

Only the GS came out with a 4cyl so that kind of narrows it down...a little :troll:

Was climate control optional?

Probably for the bottom of the range one, ask for engine bay pics.

Well going by Dwaynes website it is marked as being that's what they came with from factory.

Going by the sales brochure, it is marked as an option

http://www.mitsubishi-fto.org/info/1994 ... ochure.pdf

last page.

Not particularly clear due to scan quality, but it's on there.

It isnt a GPvR, theres a few hints in the photo's that prove it.

1. It's Silver, GPvR's were only made in White, Black and Red.
2. The seats have the pattern on the inside, GPvR seats were a solid colour with the FTO logo embroidered into them.
3. Has a standard steering wheel, GPvR's all had the factory MOMO steering wheel.

I used to have a EB Ford Falcon XR6 that was running on 4 cylinders, sparkplugs had fowled. So technically it was a 4cyl even though it was a 6cyl. Ran like a bucket of sh*t mind you
