Battery completely flat
Hasn't been started in a week and now there's 0 battery left in there.
What do I do short of buying a new one? Buy a el-cheapo battery charger?

Re: Battery completely flat
can try charging it, can be lucky sometimes.
Battery in ours was el-zilcho.
Gave it a whirl, left it on charge for a week with a trickle charge and came up a charm.

Re: Battery completely flat
Ah, I was thinking I could buy a charger tomorrow, leave it on charge for few hours and put it back in.
So it's not guaranteed that it'll start working again?

Re: Battery completely flat
nope.
could lend you my trickle charger, would instantly tell you if the battery has gone open circuit, would need to collect it from me at work however.
Also, depending on battery capacity, may need a weeks charge time, only does like 300ma current charge.
which is extremely small, if you're unaware.

Ah that's fucked! I need it so I can drive to work on Wednesday, so the charger would do me no good.. gah!
Might as well buy a new one, I've never replaced the battery on the car since I've had it anyway.
Thanks

Re: Battery completely flat
I'd say you're better off with a new battery if you have one that's as old as that.

Re: Battery completely flat
And I'd say go stick it up your ass and f*ck yourself u c*nt, although that wouldn't be very befitting in this scenario.
So I'll just say thanks mate, appreciate the help

Re: Battery completely flat
Surprisingly, when I called battery patrol to come change it, the guy tried jump starting it, and it actually worked. Very surprised, considering it was completely flat. Win!
