Bonfire prep thread

Post by Bennoz »

So... what have you done to your pride & joy to get it ready for the bonfire?

I've spent everyday this f*cking week fixing stuff

Todays list read:
- Fix fuel leak from regulator - Done
- Fix 2 leaks in oil cooler lines - Done
- Find out what is causing tappet noise - no oil in engine - oil & filter change - Done ( 8O )
- Lube up temporary PS belt tensioner - Done (new unit not arriving for 2 weeks)
- Dry lube squeaky cam belt (gotta love baby powder!) - Done
- Polish turbo piping - Done
- Replace sh*tty torn & faded tweeter covers - Done
- Properly mount Haltech in passenger footwell - Done
- Clean & re-oil air filters - Done
- New intake ducting - Half done

And, for tomorrow...
- Wheel swap, drivers sides front to back
- Finish ducting
- Put in missing hose clamps to new fuel pump setup
- Fix front drivers side brake squeak
- Clean & polish!

Couldn't be assed, half the car's still dirty, but did spray over the rotten HKS sticker.
sprayed over the scrape mark left by the RVR (R.I.P) :P
car had a wash, polish bits of the car to remove finger marks :P
And the car's packed, only drinks and clothes bag remain.

Edit:
Things to do:
Fill ipod with music for the journey.

Nothing ... FTW ...

Did an oil change 2 weeks ago, and minor service... That was about it ... But only cause it was overdue...

Other than that, just been driving it and getting the cobwebs cleaned out, as I have been taking the ute to work most of the time... and all this week has been on the bike...

Ute is up for rego ... Bye $900 ....
I just had to add it ......

4) Use rag to clean off bird sh*t
5) Look at my car and come up with things to do to it that I probably never will
6) Wake up at a retarded hour on Saturday morning
