Can't see the pics cause I'm at work... it's good that no one was hurt... my mate was in an accident last month, going 50k is a 60k zone cause it was wet, the car aquaplaned.. hit a pole and his work mate was killed... definitely wouldn't be driving a car that should be classified a write-off.... dangerous

What did you crash on?
Does not look like a 100k/h crash

agree... maybe doing 100kph when he lost control, but impact speed is more 30kph id say

edit: probably less considering the doors still open

A Toyota Aurion. That's only some of the damage...Wreckers got the doors open, I got out through a back door. Steering column came up and out and jammed me into the seat, and the 308 under the hood was just everywhere...Lost a wheel, spun out, and the rear of the car slammed into a freeway barrier. The product of a f**kwit doing a u-turn on the freeway...This is what the car looked like beforehand...Pity I didn't get pics of the rear post-accident...There wasn't much left of it...Front would have been worse if i wasn't swerving at the time, or it would have been a T-bone. I consider myself lucky!

You drive along, feel the steering get a little weird, the car drops on one corner, and then the missing wheel rolls on past.

Usually the result of a failing part, or some tyre-dumbass not tightening the wheel nuts/studs correctly.

Another good one is people with locknuts. Someone comes along, tries to steal your wheels, hits issue with locknut, so they just leave the other 4 nuts off and you're driving around unknowingly on ONE wheel nut. Doesn't take much for it to go bye bye
I'll have an FTO one day... i swear!

until then:
1. 2001 Merc-Benz A160 (porta-loo on wheels)
2. 2007 Peugeot 307 TDi (more fun than you'd expect)
3. 2009 Mitsubishi Triton Di-D (a monster in its own right)
4. 1992 Nissan NX Coupe (club car and project car)
5. 1996 Holden SB Barina - "The Nugget"
6. 1996 Jeep XJ Cherokee Sport - The Budget Build
7. 2010 Toyota Landcruiser 76 Series - V8 Goodness... - Build coming soon.
8. 1990 Audi 90 manual - The delightfully dignified daily driver
