Air conditioner problem

Post by payaya »

Had my condenser repaired refilled and the AC was working for a couple of months, stopped for two weeks, now the AC goes cold only when the car is moving or being revved to say 2-3k.

Thermos are fine, compressor is engaging and there is more than enough gas in the system.

Is there a common prob with the Fto i should know before I go over everything with a microscope?

If it's rpm related, its usually the compressor. Maybe some crap stuck in the veins within it. I dunno, can they flush AC systems?

They can flush it but if somethings lodged in the compressor dunno if it will do any good.

I did however check the temperature of the inlet and outlet sides of the compressor and it's doesnt seem to be blocked.

It started to happen straight after remounting the ambient temp sensor. Does the climate control computer use this sensor at all?

Is the ac thermo fan multi speed?
