Front park lights

Post by MrFT000 »

Hi - I have a 1996 GPX with a 97 front bar ( the one with the 2 seperate holes on either side, in one of the holes i have the indicators, and in the other - its empty (but im told they are for fogs).
my question is - where are the park lights?
cause when i turn on my park lights - nothing comes on (outside)
please help!

thanks

The series II FTO's (facelift versions) have the park light built into the headlight, as you have a series I FTO you don't have this.

This is what i think,

- Pre-face lift models have the parkers in the front bumper bar.
- Face lifted models have the parkers in the main head light.

Because your car has a face-lifted front bumper, you will not have parkers, as they should of been in the old bumper.

In other words, your parkers should be in the main headlight, but are not because you have a pre-facelift model, with a facelifted front bumper bar...

Probably best to get a confirmation with someone that actually put a facelifted front bar one though.

My facelift has the park lights in the main lights themselves. You could probably get fogs for the holes by the indicator and then just wire them up to the parks.
