I can get some made up (i work at a sign company here in tas) best way to apply if you don't have what we call an "applicator" is to use a credit card.
1. Clean window you're applying to with a small amount of cold soapy water, wipe with clean rag.
2. Use masking tape to hold sticker on each end in the position you want it.
3. Using credit card, place under masking tape and rip it to give you somewhere to align to after you've peeled backing paper off.
4. Peel off backing paper.
5. Stretch the sticker towards the piece of masking tape you left on the window and with a firm stroke, start where you're other piece of masking tape is holding the sticker to the window and pull the credit card all the way till you're off the sticker.
6. Peel off "application tape" from the front of the sticker, be sure not to pick up any of the vinyl that has been applied to the window, if some does come up, use a knife with a pointed tip to flick the piece of vinyl that is stuck.
