Rear break line?

Post by benrad666 »

So was changing the rear breaks and when trying to remove the pads n putting pressure on the caliper, I broke a break line!!
The line is thin metal tubeing coated in rubber??
What is it for?? Is it high a high pressure line and can I just ment it with some more rubber hose or some thing? :?
The breaks still worked and it didn activate any engine lights??
What's it for and is it important?

The rear calipers dont push in either, they wind in.

So, Foot fix line instead...

Brake! ;)

And I get what you did, you need to release the handbrake and remove the circlip to remove the handbrake line. (although you can get away not removing it sometimes)
