One thing you should do is follow Ben's footsteps and carry one or more cans/bottles of coke in your car just incase of fire from the wires hehehehe.

This was years ago mate lolSahin wrote:You had a fire in your car? Where is this thread lol
I didn't know to fuse the main power line to the amp, went screaming round a roundabout near Newcastle & my sub slid across my boot, ripped the 12v+ out of the amp & earthed it against the body.
All of a sudden there was this f**ken line of smoke coming from under the bonnet, along the carpet, under the centre console & into the boot. Straight away I knew what it was, jumped out, popped the bonnet & snipped the line - then proceeded to dump all the big bottles of water I had in the car all over burning things

LOL whats Gen Y?
ANYWAYS PEOPLE, it didnt work for like a day and then suddenly i drove over a speedbump or turning too fast or something like that, it magically decided to work again? ==
Yeah i think its a wiring problem, theres wires everywhery, probly need to cut it or something and find somewhere to like mount the amp so it dosent fly and like spark -----> fire LOL and then yeah...
Looking forward to another DIY day to get this all done somehow LOL

Learn how to use a multimeter. Pointless trying to diagnose electrical problems without one.
