He was so obsessed with trying to be funny, he didn't actually help you.

What he was trying to say was, send our member 'dstocks' a PM. He wrecks FTO's & should have one of those spare.

Just the stalks mate, its a part that sits behind your steering wheel.

Do they have to be FTO specific? Or can I get some at a shop? Cause an FTO wrecker is selling them to me for $50... I don't think that's worth it.

Get the whole part, (both stalks, indicator assembly) - easy enough to replace then. And yes I'd say that have to be FTO specific.

EDIT: What do you know, they are seperate parts!

http://www.completefto.com.au/modules/p ... sp?bid=317

_____________________________________________________________

This is an example only, not an FTO specific part.

Image

disconnect battery,
remove steering wheel
remove trim around steering wheel arm
remove indicator stalk assembly/ place new one on, reverse above steps.

Mitsu only do entire units, not split pieces like the euros, so the above example should be what you get in the mail.
I'm next to positive Mitsu never did split designs in the earlier years...

So should I just go with the right indicator for $50?

*shrug*
The indicator/ headlight/ highbeam arm are the same between all models, there were no differences.
So it's a universal FTO part.

$50 sounds what an avg wrecker would charge, so if you need it desperately (unless you're from a different country :not too much of a hint:) then you need them, so...

Well the indicator stalk works, just the clip is broken so it's a pain to push up and down.
