i can say without doubt these things are all hype and nothing else.
What happens when at high speed, when great amounts of air are necessary? I can guarantee the FTO would suck more air than the charger would provide at high speeds, and become more of a bottleneck?

Anything producing this kind of airflow would need centrifugal type fan. either barckward curved or mixed flow centrifugal.smorison wrote: questions:

These type of fans work the best under load. ie the fan uses more power for the same airflow if it not restricted.
also if it flows 1000cfm this would normally be given as a free air reading.
In my opinion the e-ram units are crap, cause I've played around with this idea for a while, but these thomas units may be the go.

agree'd but the questions should be asked -even though i'm pretty sure of the answers already..
Teh thomas ones look interesting i'm going to do some more research on them as i get time... mainly around the alternator and what its likely to cost as an additional setup item...
