Reading lamps not working

Post by crosso »

Hey, just registered to post. I bought a 94 FTO GPX a few months ago, runs awesome. Lovin the car

Anyway the Reading lamps stopped working, so I replaced them and they still won't work. Switched them over to check that it wasnt a + - contact problem but to no avail.
Does anyone have any possible solutions?

Thanks aza thats perfect.
So i checked in my engine fusebox, and the 'Interior lights' fuse isnt even there. Empty.
So I checked the interior fusebox for spares but none there.

All the other interior lights work fine, just not the reading lamps. Can I assume thats the problem?

Yep, put a new fuse in, works great. Now just 1 of my new LED's was defective so I have to go through the long paypal process of getting a new one :/

Remember LEDs are polarity sensitive so they can only be put in one way.. Just check you have them in the right way. And can't you get led's from supercheap or jaycar? They are more expensive but atleast you don't have to wait for shipping from china lol
