Even with the 3M cf vinyl, it's very challenging to apply, especially in curvy surface. I suggest try on small surface first, or better, get a professional, u got warranty and don't run the risk of wasting the vinyls...it's like $100 per meter

You'd be surprised just how untrue that is.
We bought our bonnet for I believe $650 delivered.

The price of having a professional wrap the bonnet, with a guaruntee and using 3M quality film will be close to if not equal or greater than that price.
Just keep that in mind.

I 100% agree with you that it's the best way to have the look without the defect, The bonnet on ours, we've only installed once, and it was for those pictures, all the carbon stuff has been under the house, but there's another reason behind that...

Obviously CF is all about the show off factor (apart from the weight reduction, but vinyl doesn't play there)
Why not go for the silver CF?
That would suit a silver car, and give much the same effect. As said, won't stand out as much, but...

Well I was quoted a full wrap for the NX (when I was looking at keeping, but didn't want to paint)
For I believe $3800.00

The NX is a smaller car with less metal to wrap also.

That was through Carbon Demon.

imo dont wrap it..

1: automatically looks fake
2: How you gonna take them off when you dont want it?
3: waste of money
4: extra weight
5: u cant guarantee the wrap will still be in the same condition

My mate had his entire sportivo corolla wrapped in satin black vinyl, actually looks really good... cheaper than a respray and preserves the paint underneath it.

Its more to do with the fact they can snap off the hinges real easy in an accident & frisbee across the road & behead a bystander.
