Just some question about headers

Post by Xeno »

Long story short, some guy at work was on about custom headers

So like, what would be the difference on getting new headers and the old one?

Would the difference be significant?

What would be the overall difference on the car? like better fuel eco etc?

Also how much would it cost, to buy + put in a header?

Cheers (:

Around $1300 for hurricanes I think? Could be way off but Im pretty sure I remember reading 1300 somewhere. Maybe im getting mixed up. Search for Hurricane or RPW extractors.
I fix cars.

cheapest easiest way is to get some from RPW and throw em straight in (they claim a bolt on but we all know we have different stories about this)
Depending on if you need fabrication to put them in, youll be able to do it yourself with a few basic tools and a colorful language
Difference is a much sexier sound and a noticeable increase on bottom end being much smoother

Anyone who smashes their car while its cold is a dickhead  and probably deserves to do damage to their engine to teach them a lesson

Nothing to do with the headers. More likely due to your car being in a state of closed loop.
