OK so lately ive been doing a lot of research and it is plausible to get a decent SET of rims landed in Australia from Japan for around $550 as an average (price of rims dependant)
These rims are second hand, however stil in very good condition and dirt cheap (about 150-200aud from the shop) as the Japanese have no value on any second hand goods over there, its crazy.
I have emailed Import monster as the third party and they say its fine to import everything etc and the more we get the cheaper the container is ($220 for a single set - thats the figure thats coming down with more people)
Ive emailed UPgarage in Japan, which will be the store they come from (if not one of the many many many other superstores over there) and am awaiting a reply to get the go ahead to hand over the shopping lists.

Your job is to first put your name down to show interest so we can get a rough idea on numbers for all 3 parties, and to get a list together of what rims you want. Preferrably put down your top 3-5 in descending order of neediness as they may not have your specific rim size/offset etc they are second hand so their stock in a sense is limited (but still unfathomably huge)
Pm me your lists through and once i get an idea of how many are interested i will see what i can get shipping down to, what they have in stock and get rough figures out to everyone before going ahead and getting them on the boat.
Again, these are impossibly cheap and can be bought for around 10% of what you pay in Australia, even with freight and tax they still are 75% cheaper than anything you will find over here - lets get stick into it!

Mate I'd have no idea unfortunately, best to make a list of what you would want then ill see what they have. Keep in mind its a second hand store so rims like te37 etc will be a rare find as who wants to trade in these sexy rims, not sure how big those rims are. really a lucky dip lmao.

Just got an email back from UPGARAGE
My english email must of not been readable to the sales people as it was referred to head office. Just stated they only ship domestically, must not of specified that import monster will be walking into the store to buy them in person - another email sent off. Also asked about their range on FTO parts, if were lucky might get a few goodies for our cars as well as we are paying for a containr anyway, why not fill it to the brink!
After i hear a reply again from upgarage, ill get a rough idea and list of exactly what they have in stock and all the finer details, email import monster back with a list of things we would like and then from there confirm everything 110%
Will get specifics including photos, total and final cost of everything etc etc

Oh and im well aware FTOau cannot endorse this or 'insure' it so to speak from anything going wrong - however import monster does have there guarantee in their policy and since they will be purchasing direct from UPgarage we should be covered all the way if god forbid anything goes wrong.
Upgarage will have the guarantee of selling the item in the condition stated (photos from import monster and specifics before it is imported will ensure this)
Import monster then takes responsibility from picking the paid rims up to getting them on the docks in VIC
Depending on where we are all at, its then up to us to pick them, or AUSpost to deliver them the rest of the way (or whatever other freight company Import Monster uses to get the riums to our door) for that extra $200 but im thinking its easier to trailer up and head down and back up through the nsw clan, then up to QLD.

So get your ideas together now and what your willing to spend and we will go from there.
