Couldn't you have rid yourself of the extra idler pulley/ adjuster?
Or is that the only point of tension for the belt?

Yup, needs to be there, its the only tensioner on that circuit.

Up under the boot, sort of up where the toolkit bay is on the drivers side.
Nah, still have the Walbro ITP257 in-tank, this new one is an inline supplement pump.

The other boot with the VS wing on it is being resprayed as we speak
I dunno what to do with this one, was contemplating sticking a big ass GT wing on it & using it purely for track days when I actually need some down force
I've also tossed up some other options, like an Evo 8 wing, or maybe a Version R with carbon blade. I 'unno! I'm not so good at styling
All I know is I've really gotta polish up the rest of the car to match the new boot!
