Re: next nsw event
This was long planned Lawso, get with the time line.
Just cause you once again have an FTO
.
Just under 2 months from the bonfire.
I think it may perhaps be a good idea to have a DIY (mini day) and address some peeps issues they have so everyone has a smooth run to Dwaynes.
Not offering my place at all, and in all honesty, I'm over fixing cars.
Just saying it might be a good idea...

Re: next nsw event
I will post up pics of my little driveway tomorrow after work
.
I would say that you could work on 15 FTO's in the driveway or park 20

Re: next nsw event
Ok some pics of the front yard/driveway
.
don't worry about the 10'000 boxes
we still need to change the color of the house yet as there is no way it's staying green lol.

I can even fit my truck in where the lancer is parked and its a 33Tone truck (see pic below ) and still use the driveway

Re: next nsw event
IF this happened, it wouldnt be for that stuff, this would be for ensuring cars make the trip and back.Xeno wrote:So ummm whens this happening? o-o

The bonfire itself (if you're attending that) is a time for stuff like that. (then again, I wouldnt recomend messing with electrics) one person already came stuck doing that.

Re: next nsw event
Major service, no.
Minor service you have already done.
The only things that are prime to check are things like.
Oil, filters, gearbox fluid, steering fluid, brake fluid, brake pads, rotors, tyres, battery, cooling system, accesory belts and check all vacuum hoses.
Obviously things like change tyres you couldn't do at a diy day (unless someone has a rotisery, and the tools...) but otherwise it's just the basics for running.
The only reason we make a day from it, is it quickly turns from cars to drinking... and we don't mix the 2, can't have both. (atleast not in any good sort of way)
I'm doing my own servicing over the next 2 weekends as our FTO hasn't been driven in near a year, and is covered in spider webs, dirt and has seized brakes from being parked too long.
Add to that new lower engne mounts which is something I've simply put off (dropping the cross member) and my car is an entire weekend to itself...
I'm happy to attend however and give a small hand with simple jobs, but I'm rather over cars, Jay Leno needs to send some of his garage my way.
