Despite the engine only having 55,000km on it, it is still at least 12 years old and all the rubber will be starting to dry out. If you can afford it, I would suggest replacing all rubber components while the engine is out and save yourself the headache of having a leaky rear main seal or an old timing belt snapping.

Double half moon seals + the gasket kit from Camskill is a good start.

edit: U need 2 of the double half moon seals, so do not just order one.

Ok, just some advice on shipping from camskill.

If you order the gasket kit, postage will be very expensive, and it will cost nothing extra(postage-wise) to get other stuff in the package, like lead coils, engine + air filters, as long as they are not too heavy, which is what I did. Ended up ordering about $900/- in total.

There might be one more seal/gasket I forgot to mention. Will try and look for my receipt from last year.

why would you replace the valve cover related seals if they are not leaking??? It's not much harder to replace the rocker gaskets with engine in!

Might be $700/- after looking through the old emails.
I went alittle nuts and ordered Magnecor leads, droplinks, bushes, dog arms, the air+oil+fuel filter kit and the timing belts+pulleys kit.

My car was a lemon anyway, so loads of stuff needed to be changed.

Drive like its on rails now, so no regrets.
