How to disconnect reading lamps on 94 gpx

Hey there,
I am doing some paint work and touch ups on the door and dont want to keep disconnecting the battery everytime. I was just wondering if there was a trick to disconnecting the reading lamps or do i just pull out the cable at the back of the mirror. Any clips?

If your battery is in a reasonably good condition, you should be able to leave the lights on for easily 24 hours before it is an issue.

If you are worried, the easiest thing is to remove the 2 light globes from the mirror.

Ok thanks although there should be a way to remove the power source to the interior lights but dont want to break the clips as it will be hard to find new ones lol

The cable unplugs from the mirror, there is a clip on it. It is easier to unplug it if you remove the mirror first. (Carefully pull down on the mirror, then twist the whole thing to the side)

tried that but it keeps popping back up haha ended up clamping it down so the sensor stays off

Was gonna say just disconnect the battery til I re-read it hah. Should be fine to leave on.

P.S do you own a grey fto with a replaced drivers side door and a non working rev meter?
