Im running a 95 GPX with a 6a12 and theres no rev limit when warm, if that helps

Really? So if you put your foot down in 1st and don't change it will continue revving past 8500? To like 9 or 10k?

Im driving an automatic (unfortunately) so it shifts itself. Ive never really hammered it in tiptronic though. Will test tomorrow and give results

If you never have hammered it in tip how do you know your car has no limiter??

In full auto it shifts once it hits redline. Use tip to bounce it off the rev limiter.
