FTO-MIRAGE Gearbox

Just wondering if any one can confirm this.
I found on the net that a lot of the Gearboxes are interchangeable. So what i'd like to know is, Will a Mitsubishi Mirage (4g15) 5 speed Gearbox bolt up to a FTO Mivec engine.

The Mivec FTO engine is in the Mirage too by the way.

It is meant to bolt up. But what you should do is have a look at the bellhousing and see where the starter motor mounts. Some (all??) gearboxes have 2 positions it can mount. The 6A12 starter motor is at the front of the engine so the gearbox must be able to accommodate this.
Keep in mind that the ratios are less than ideal and not suited to the high revving nature of the 6A12.
