FTO is the under dog on the straight with the turbo's. 2:30 tells you something.
Cheers for the video!

Dumb test, the WRX should have been ahead from the very start.

Actually I thought none of those were turbo. Rather they are the NA versions

Well the first thing you see is the scoop on the WRX, (and all these being factory ultimately means its a wrx, not an rx) then comes the skyline with the factory GTR kit on it with a big ass cooler on the front, then the next one which has a massive bonnet vent and being factory means its turbo etc
FTO definitely is the underdog no doubt being FWD 2L na over a 2.6L twin turbo straight six rwd monster amongst others, guess it was a benchmark for a fast factory fwd, was repping the NA's with the mr2 (although wasnt all early MR2's the 3SGTE range?)
In any case, still laid down a good time and was fast enough to fend off the others for a while, which says something about the driver too
go fto go!

Not knowing Japanese, but simply looking and hearing, there's definitely turbo in the Rex, celica, mr2 and the Silvia.

The Fto is modded too hence the "bozz" at the front, but I only hear mivec.

Considering Bozz only ever made the kit for the FTO, im pretty sure they never tuned one, and by listening to it there doesnt sound like any difference as you said...
They are also at tsukuba as well, which is why i guess its doing so well considering - one of the only tracks in the world i guess which would favour it more than any other

I didn't watch the whole video, it was the Subaru with no wing that made me think they are non turbo.

Mr2 GT had the 3S-GTE engine as standard. Mid mounted engine with a short wheel base is a dream for those who like a over steering car, in a good way.

Give the FTO half a chanced with 5 PSI of boost and we'll really get things going.
