SEAGULL DAY - QLD/BRISBANE

Post by Taz »

With the new car so anxious to be a stripper, we will be holding a seagull day sometime next week (most likely saturday 14th), keep your eyes peeled here for exact times.
Will be held at Sahin's house near brown's plains.

Goodies up for grabs are:
Brand new water pump in box never used
Stereo surround - mint condition, no cracks (some slight rubbing marks however it will be pulled out, sanded back and re sprayed)
Possibly the wheels (if Sahin wants them or not)
Spoiler
Stepper motor
Climate control unit
Few other things i cant remember off the top of my head but basically it will be a proper seagull day, i only need a shell, sahin only needs a few things like pulleys and such
Gearbox (tip) and ecu, engine ecu etc will be pulled out on request however we wont be doing this on the day, as it wont be ideal - let us know and i will get them out as soon as possible.

The only thing that i will have a dibs on is the surround, purely because when it will be resprayed, if you want a specific colour, its only a matter of buying a different spray can from masters.

Would be nice to get an idea of numbers of whos coming. I wont give prices, as it will be a first in best offer deal.
Please express your interest in this post on the surround, as im sure a few people will be wanting a mint cond one.
If you also want something else, but cant make it let us know we can work something out
Keep your eyes peeled for exact time and date!

Few things up for grabs there are gpx brakes too, boot lining, leather seats front ones probably need a touch up if you're a fussy bastard back seat is immaculate from first glance (leather also), Stanley knife was also found lol if it's not part of my list on the previous post its probably up for grabs, and as taz said shell is his. Mivec engine too if anyone is interested no mivec cover though and needs a timing belt and new waterpump but if noone buys the water pump can probably go with the engine. Auto gearbox think guy said 140k on engine haven't checked odo though.

Ok ladies, seagull day is now off, as me n sahin stripped the car almost bare today bar most of the engine bay stuff which hasnt already been requested.
I have everything that people might want here at my house (wakerley for pickup) and engine parts (i.e. gearbox etc) will be available on request as i have to get it back to my shed as i refuse to take anything out on the side of the road (couldesac, on a hill with sh*tty brakes i might add)
If you need something not listed here pm me ill see what i can do but as it stands the things left are:

*rubber ring around tiptronic shifter that goes between the plate and the stereo surround
*stereo surround slightly scuffed in one corner, but in one piece, ALL clips in tact, extremely good nic - going to lightly sand back and repaint, will be as new
*all interior panels inc centre console
*glove box
*timing cover
*rear seatbelts/brackets (are these the same as the front ones?)
*rear seats - leather trimmed! silver bucket with a black outlining good nick, will condition them tonight, only a minor minor tear up the very top near the driver side speaker (unnoticeable really - easy fix with a quick stitch if fussy)
*door sills
*spoiler

As i said, things like driveshafts, gearbox etc etc will be available upon request at a later stage when the car is back at my place being stripped bare to just a shell to be caged
All prices will be best offer - stereo surround as im assuming will be a bit of a hot item will be the highest bid before next sunday 15th, winning bid will have a choice of which color it will be sprayed as a bonus (i will hold off on spraying it till a final bid is placed)

I have been thinking however with all the interior panels as they are all in excellent condition to re spray all covers another color (at buyers request) and do like a custom color interior type thing. Panels would include door trims, centre console, glovebox, rear seat area panels (inc the ones the seatbelt feeds through) and door sills. Would anyone be interested in this kind of thing? (brisbane only) i would come around and fit every panel myself painted the color of YOUR choice for you so all you do is pay a bit of cash and within an hour or so your interior is completely different...dont know what i would charge but wouldnt be much as i doubt i could sell all panels indivdually if at all.
Let us know if your interested maybe we can work something out.

Probably something here ive missed so shoot through a pm if your after something. (keeping all exterior panels and lights)
Ill re post with pics soon

Cheers, Taz

pics inc

make a sensible offer - i would post but at your expense, seeing is how they are bulky might be a bit, however they are light as hell so i dont know.
Have got the fronts, that suit but they arent in the best condition, if you are still interested i can let them go real cheap, but postage would be the killer, would be better i think to trim your seats yourself, they would be new and cheaper overall.

As you can see the seats are in really good nick, came up really well and the little tears are little, they are only really noticeable as i just conditioned the seats n shinied them up, and the flash on the camera is reflecting a sh*t tonne of light! lmao

Pics of the rest of the panels (forgot to put the cup holder back into the centre console, but i have it and its in good nick like the rest of it.

The head deck you can see in the next few pics ill post i got from the wreck, 750-USD touch screen dvd player - score!
