However, news just at hand, as we know Ralliart Oceania has now folded, and they were the ones supplying Meek.
Mitsubishi has now taken up the Ralliart parts line & badged them as their own. So both lower solid mounts are available thru Mitsu.
I paid $110 for the both of them.

Re: DIY: Changing lower engine mounts
Hey guys,
just wondering if if this mount will be compatible?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1997-2002-MITSU ... 415wt_1163
The part number is correct at "MR131296" however it looks different.
I purchased the rear mount from TransGold and that arrived fine, however I really don't want to deal with their customer support people. The lady I spoke to was extremely rude and unorganised, I'd rather order it straight on-line and have it delivered to my house

Re: DIY: Changing lower engine mounts
Hey guys,
so I got the front mount delivered from that shop however I noticed it's exactly the same size as the rear mount:

(front on left, rear on right)
The part number is MR131296 indicating that it's the front mount. I got the rear mount from TransGold.
Will it work with these mounts? Or does the front one need to be bigger?

Re: DIY: Changing lower engine mounts
No! Front mount is larger. Repco have them as it's a common part.

Re: DIY: Changing lower engine mounts
No clue. Because the FTO doesn't really cross reference with anything else which makes it hard.
The Lancer/Mirage mounts I'm pretty sure the front mount is larger than the rear one. But the mirage we have is different to the model in america.
Just go to Repco it's only about 80 bucks.

Re: DIY: Changing lower engine mounts
The part listed on the eBay seller is MR131296 which according to the post in a previous page, is the exact mount needed for the front mount FTO.
Should I ask for a refund?

Re: DIY: Changing lower engine mounts
Ok, so I found a side mount that fits today
Turns out its a Ralliart product, the same as an Evo 7-9 top mount. Made from HS90 hardness rubber, its significantly stiff than the old mount.

Mitsubishi part number MN580217. Price was $71.50. Yes it will fit both the gearbox side mount as well.
