Rebuilt manual gearbox with limo diff - SOLD
Compliments of Benedict (member here, not evil head of church) I have a spare manual gearbox.
Now I'm told it needs a rebuild, which is fine, I can do that, but I'm not gonna bother unless someone wants it.
So, just putting it out there, I can do a full reco on it (full bearing set, syncros, seals) and then have it up for sale.
A reco kit will cost me about $250, plus add my time in doing it, then depending on what type of LSD it has in it, I'd be after somewhere around the $750 mark for it.
Anyone interested?

Re: Rebuilt manual gearbox with limo diff - SOLD
Is the diff in my gearbox a helical or viscous type Ben?
I'm reading up on diffs and had no idea what the "limo" diff is

Viscous mate
Meaning there's a whole bunch of 'wafer' like discs spinning in a sticky goo like substance, that helps transmit power to both wheels.

Were the driveshafts ABS friendly?

Good question... cant remember! If they aren't, then all you have to do is swap the CV's over from your existing driveshafts.Shhtuart wrote:Sweet, thanksBennoz wrote:Viscous mate![]()
