The drive train less of 4wd is huge so good effort on 10 psi.

Annnnnnnnnnnnnd BANG!!! Again!!!

This is what happens when you run around for 3500kms without having it tuned... So rich it ripped the pistons to peices & polished the bores to a mirror finish. Most of the rings ended up in the sump.

Lesson learnt, it doesn't matter how much you spend on forgies, if the tune aint right, you'll f**k them with ease.

How rich is too rich?

I believe my car is running rich as I have bumped up the compression on the motor and the ECU has compensated. I am not pumping out black smoke but my fuel economy is pretty rubbish, in the order of 13 - 15l / 100km for the first tank of gas. Should I be looking to have it tuned before the 1500km service?
