What exactly are you trying to figure out?

The vehicle should have 2 VIN numbers, an Australian VIN number and a Japanese VIN number. The Japanese number can be used to query year, model and what options the vehicle came with from factory where as the Australian VIN can be used to check that the vehicle wasn't written off here and possibly how many owners the car has had.

The number you quoted is the Australian VIN.

The Japanese VIN will start with DE2A or DE3A.
Me? Bitter? f**k no. I think it's hilarious.
