Re: SchumieFans SX4
Very nice schumie, although that car for me is like a NA supra/skyline etc - why bother (this only ever seems to be my opinion
)
Not baggin the car by any means (mrs has got one and they go pretty hard) but knowing that it COULD of been an evo X would kill me lmao - i guess the reason why i had to have a GPR
You planning on doing anything to it or keeping it nice and sensible?
(probably the reason for not spending an extra 30k on the evo
)

i dont know why everyone is goin on about an evo
i bought this car because its a good mix of sporty and sensible driving,
its comfortable, has all the bells and whistles and still has 3 years of warranty.
what i dont want is:
-extra insurance costs
-extra cop attention
-extra boy racer attention
-extra service costs
-extra fuel costs
im not a boy racer by anymeans and i feel no overwhealming desire to buy a car that is a) well beyond my level of control or need... i mean, how many times does an evo get used in the way it was intended (ie, not wrapped around a pole somewhere but on a track)
completely unnecessary
the VRX is the top of the line before the turbo models, it has a great 2.4 engine with constantly variable MIVEC coupled with great suspension and a manual gearbox it has more then enough go for me... so the opposite to what you said... the evo to me is a bit of a 'why bother?'

Re: SchumieFans SX4
how far off is the VRX from the ralliart in terms of $$$?
i always thought ralliart would be a nice spot.

Damn straight, can't even do a burnout.SchumieFan wrote:im not a boy racer by anymeans

atleast it's a tri-diamond, not overly a fan of this model myself, but not my car, so ehh.
Meanwhile, the question is, are you planning anything for it?
And why does that licence plate ring a bell?

BJ.... R
do i need to spell it out?

in anycase i will be starting a new thread for it, its a great car, still trying to learn it... really wants to go, the constantly variable MIVEC is insane... always in the powerband, you can put your foot down in any gear and it just goes...
you know that electrical whyning noise you hear on the V8 supercars incar camera? thats what it sounds like...
amazing car...
love that car
(and cars name is Vixen... Vixen the VRX)

And so begins the new facepalm factor.SchumieFan wrote:(and cars name is Vixen... Vixen the VRX)
And by the licence plate I mean it seems like a car I remember on a forum.
1 of 3, unsure which.
Main thing that gives it away is the aftermarket vinyl they've used on the bumpers centre strip as opposed to the factory piece, and the blacked factory rims. also plate relocation.
Can you tell if there used to be a forum sticker on the rear quater glass? (faint outline)
