Pretty sure people said the sponge from the UAS kit is sh*t... and to just use a pod.

Re: UAS Cold Air Ramp Pod Kit
well i had a pod filter on it but i noticed at high revs it starts to rattle like as if it cant take it but i don't know.
oh well doesn't matter now, should be selling the car soon anyway so the next person can change it.

Sold to me

Well if they are crap then which pod filter would provide the best flow and filtration? Or would a ARC box be better?Kustom wrote:Pretty sure people said the sponge from the UAS kit is sh*t... and to just use a pod.

Re: UAS Cold Air Ramp Pod Kit
try the search button, i remember there was a whole thread on the different pod/air filters like HKS and stuff cant exactly remember it. they should be all the same. you dont gain significant kw's from it unless you just want a good air filter. but i dno how they work haha

Yeah I did search and found the magazine article comparing the different filters. But I would like to know how a ARC box would compare to a pod filter.

Re: UAS Cold Air Ramp Pod Kit
Uni filter told me the funnel section on their filter create a swirling vortex effect aiding greater flow.
They reckon they can make a panel filter for the standard air box.
Still sussing out what to use after when i get box, Hopefully this weekend.
Uni filter HQ is located West Gosford, central coast.
