If you're generally competent with mechanical stuff you figure it out as you go, and the money you save on paying someone else generally more than pays for the tools required :D

I'm no good at mechanic stuff...might see if they have a tafe course that teaches you stuff, will have to be next year as my final exams are coming up at uni so quite busy atm....Going to be a busy year next year :(

2 x fog light switch
All engine mounts
Radiator
Alternator
Oxy sensor
Both tie rods
Sway bar links
Bushes

That's just top of my head I have replaces that are non service items!!

If you have to do a tafe course just to own a car i think your looking for the wrong car lol.

I will only do the course to figure out how to do a minor service...seems like a good thing to know i reckon. :D

Kate used to be "interested" in working on her fto but i found slowly but surely id be having less company in the garage.

Such a steep slope haha. Shame you got 2 lemons to deter her - i've honestly not had anything go wrong with mine at all and im a pretty aggressive driver....if only you had my luck she would still be in there with you :lol:

My girl loves the FTO,
She loves the look, and that it is a 2 persons car, spacious for 2, painfully tight for any more :) :lol:
She's not fussed on the performance aspect though...
