Funny noise!

Hi guys, hoping someone can help!
My FTO is making a strange "clickity click" noise just near the glove box on the passenger side. The strange this is it goes away when i turn the de fogger on and unfortunately that is the only way to get it go away and stay away... it sometimes just stops but then starts again randomly until i turn the de fogger on... maybe a lose hose? What do you guys think!?

When you say defogger, do you just mean turning the air on to the windscreen?
If so, maybe you just have something caught in the air vent. I had a parking ticket in one of mine when I bought it and it make a flicking noise when the fan was on. Shine a torch into the air vents and have a look.

lol thank you! yes i did mean the fan on the windscreen... will have a look cheers...

Probably the cog that moves all the flaps, ive fixed up 2 now.

Both made that clicking noise, overtime the cogs get weak and the teeth snap off, but luckily, the whole cog isnt used and you can just make it have a different starting point and it'll missed the snapped off tooth.

To check pop the glove box down and have a look for a small metal arm, have a look to see if its jamming up on the snapped tooth when u adjust your controls.
