RPW extractors

has anyone bought a set of those 3in 1 racing extractors from rpw?
if so, how did they go, and how easy are they to fit, they say bolt on, but that dont mean sh*t these days haha

Fit pretty well. Was a pain to get it onto my existing cat converter though. But yeah just had to be a tad forceful.
If you don't have a hoist, be prepared for some rough times while squished under the car trying to remove all the super super tight bolts. Took me a whole day to do (mainly because the bolts were sooo f**king tight).
But yeah, it's worth it haha.

I know how you feel Mosti, I had the exact same problem. I eventually gave up and went and borrowed a friends air compressor. Best advice, borrow / Buy an air compressor(They are SUPER handy) and and put a decent amount of time aside to do this..

Been looking at these for a while...The guys at RPW recommended an aftermarket ECU & retune if I got them. Are you just running them with the stock ECU Mosti?

WHAT! you don't need an after market ecu for these, Yes it can add some more power but not a lot. you are best to get all the engine mods done first and then a ecu.
If you get one before other mods are done you will be spending money to tune it over what you need to.

The car only has an Apexi intake & N1 Catback...Not exactly huge mods

Yep, what aza said, the stock ecu will handle most of these mods, then get the piggyback and tune it, otherwise you'll be tuning after every mod

I think the guys at RPW are trying to get more money out of you. That is possible the worst thing I've ever heard in my life! Aftermarket ecu and retune for extractors?? Lmfao!. Mate you will be fine with just the extractors.

thanks guys,
im looking at them, but im waiting to see what engine im going to put in then get some, theres no point spending money i dont have when theyll be gone in a yr or two haha, plus my fto will be off the road for a bit at the start of next year, hopefully getting a bike and fixing the fto up quicker than i am now,
damn money problems, if only we had more haha
