Don't spray wd40 on ya pulleys that's bad. Shove a long screw driver at the pulley mounting point and the other end to ya ear and you'll be able to determine which pulley is noisy.

Lol.... Mate the noise is that loud that using that method I may go deaf haha.

This noise is not a slight chirp or squeek. It is very loud.

AND FFS! Due to it now absolutely bucketing down with rain (was 26 and sunny before)....I wont be going to look at the car. How the eff am I gona suss things out in the rain -.-

That noise is most likely your power steering pump! Power steering oil ok?

If his pulley is as fooked as it sounds, a bit wd40 aint gonna do much more harm

That was a random vid i pulled off of youtube to demonstrate a similar sound.

Also, my car is perfectly fine, it's a car I was looking to purchase.

Any who the dude sold the car literally right as i thought to myself "screw the rain".

Pretty peed off haha.

Just so you dudes know a price.......$2500 for a stock and mint condition tip GPX

Paint didn't even need a buff, no roof rust, no dents or scratches, tyres with 80% tread.

Only problem was needed a new windscreen for roadworthy, new pads and a few little bits a pieces.....oh and...the horrible noise.

So whoever picked up this car, if it's just a problem with the pulley they will be laughing!
But, possibly too sweet of a price so i guess it's a sign i didn't purchase it there and then yesterday
