Tips on installing el plate.

As per title, just got a slam panel with el plate,
Any tips for installation??

EDIT: I've gotten this far.. It's just not wired.. :lol:

It's all soldered up and ready to go :lol:

The black alligator clip hooks up to your negative terminal and the red one to the positive.

There wasn't a red clip, no worries though I'll make it work :)
What's the white wire??

Just ignore the white one, it's to hook up other EL plates to.

Did the red clip fall off? They were cheap as, just go to any electrical store and get a new one for 30c and solder it on.

I also forgot to say, do not run the wires directly past the engine, try and snake it away from it. It will melt the insulation from the cable :thumright:

No probs, I wasn't planning on running them past the engine anyway :)
I'll test the plate on the weekend :)
Hey Dwayne, if you see this thread, I distinctly remember yours being connected to a switch? Or something? Am I remembering right?
