HELP!!! My folding mirrors not working!!! i just got my new FTO and the folding mirrors doesn't work, i'm in melbourne who's the FTO expert workshop in Melbourne? i heard dat the folding mirror is on the remote control is that true?

Is true only if the previous owner had hook up the alarm with the mirror. Take it to any auto electrician & they should able to help u.

chances are they didnt, you will find the button next to the where you adjust the mirrors, (right side of steering wheel behind indicator lever).
Whats an FTO?

the switch might be burnt out, is the switch harder to use now? it happened to my old FTO, and starting to happen to this one too... oh well who needs to fold mirrors in australia anyway

Hey,

If you need to replace them I have a set of mirrors for the FTO with the motor in it.

However, it's silver so you'll have to respray them, but that shouldn't cost too much.

Just noticing the pic of your car in your signature I thought that maybe there maybe a possibilty that your car may be a Nakaya Tune in which case it is possible that like the Version R's it does not have fold in mirrors. Maybe anyway I'm not sure :? :lol: :roll:

Is your car a GR, as from memory folding mirrors weren't standard on the GR.

OK, then probably a fuse, switch, plug or wiring issue.
