I work as an IT tech at a high school and they have the ipad2 in the SEU department... they're definitely no replacement for a laptop, but are good for watching movies, internet browsing, playing games ect ect.... if you get one jail break it, then it's capabilities are endless

I'm so getting an ipad2 when I got my tax return. Perfect for emailing, net browsing, games,etc. My 7yrs old compaq laptop is still working well but the old processor just can't keep up.
iPad still allows my to view pics and PDF documents and do markups on them. I would just go office to do serious work.

Get an Android tablet. Better specs, more features, less restricted and it isn't Apple.

ipad opinions
I was at jb hifi testing on the acer iconia. Damn good......android interface is so fresh and interesting. However, I lost the battle to my missus and bought an ipad2 instead. But hey, it's all good.
