fitting aftermarket seats

so, i scored myself a great deal on some leather racing seats, but the rails dont line up, and theres not enough room on the bottom of the seats to install my existing rails,
has anyone overcome this problem, if so ,
how

have to buy aftermarket rails, I had same issue and thats what ended up doing

ive just looked on the autotecnica site, who makes the seats, and they have rails, but doesnt say any for fto,
did you use lancer ones, if so, what lancer

nope they are FTO specific, Got them from Dstocks via Yahoo Japan, You will most likely find your seats share the same seat pattern as recaro etc

best bet is to get fabricator to make custom rail for you. Thats what i did to mine autotechnica. I am not sure bout your place but in NSW you need to get it engineered ( but i sorta didnt) :P

Technically.... Any seat modification is illegal :lol: need engineers sign off ;)

technically, i know, but its only illegal if you get caught haha,
i will get them signed off, just need rails to fit,

ive looked at recaro and sparco, but could find any rails,
