Manifold breather and 3" pipe question
Hi guys,
only realised today that there is a breather pipe going from the manifold to the intake pipe as seen here:
http://ftoaustralia.com/v3/viewtopic.ph ... 22#p248422
Where would I source one of those filters from?
Also, most of the 90 degree pipe seems to short with 2 of them and the MAF sensor. Is there any place where I could source a longer 90 degree 3" pipe from? Supercheap Auto has nothing a long with Autobarn.
Thanks

How about adding a short straight silicone pipe + a short straight aluminum 3" pipe?
And those breathers cost nothing at any autostore... Just get the right size inlet though.. i think it's 10mm or 9mm or something?

Or go a level between the breather and catch can and make yourself a homemade catch can, like someone on herebduffman wrote:or go the next level and add a oil catch can

Re: Manifold breather and 3" pipe question
Ok thanks, I should be able to custom fit a breather then if that's all it is.
For the 3" pipe, does anyone know a good store to buy it from? As said the current 90 degree bends only look good for the 2 ends and don't look long enough unlike the pipe in that topic I linked above,
cheers

*bump*
Still wondering where I can buy the pipes from. Or does anyone have one from a GR that they want to part with?

eBay is best for any size silicone pipes.

Re: Manifold breather and 3" pipe question
I've checked Ebay, and the ones that are good look too short in length.
The diameter and angle is right, it's just 2 of these + the MAF won't be long enough to reach the front right of the engine bay.

Unless someone can correct me and 2 of these with an MAF and POD filter will reach?
ie: I'm aiming for this setup:
