Already been replaced. Will be related to the handbrake cable missing on one side.Astron_Boy wrote:Have you checked the master cylinder?

Re: Lawso's project thread
I thought his issue was the brakes in general, not just the fact it could spin on one tyres axis if in neutral

wtf?
You know, you're one of those people that keep getting signs that you ignore.
I think you're confined to a bus for safety!

Well the sh*t thing is that as soon as a pedestrian steps onto the road they have right of wayShhtuart wrote:Who was at fault?

Even if it's not a pedestrian walkway.
As listed in the RTA road book:- sharing the road with pedestrians page 51 of the hand book

pedestrians have the right to share the road. As a driver you are legally Required to Give way to a pedestrian at a crossing or When turning at an intersection. However You should always be prepared to stop for a pedestrians.

The 8 year old has cracked ribs or something, her mother, a broken arm. Hit them outside the afp building with an under cover cop waiting at the intersection

Oh, so they were actual pedestrians
Just found the damage odd and thought you were just over the car.
That's sh*t to hear.

Well, I don't think he did, but unless Lawso went through a red light, pedestrian crossing or deliberately accelerated toward them.silverGPX wrote:lol that's what i was wondering from the beginning why noone brought it up lol.

Then I have no sympathy for either of the pedestrians despite their age.
If they're f'ing stupid enough to walk on to a road without checking if there's an on coming car then they deserve what's coming.
The bad part is of the whole thing is the poor driver who's involved takes a fair bit of an emotional whack to the system, plus he might be up for charges, when all he was doing was driving as he does every other day.
So, no, i wouldn't have asked about them, more concerned for poor Laws. (unless he did do something silly, to which, hmm)

Re: Lawso's project thread
okay, i'm back.
in relation to the crash, fkn pedestrains, i've got a replacement mirror off dwayne, i now have more white on my car...straightened out the reo as much as possible with a hammer, still doesn't sit properly, and the radiator on one side seems to be lose.
when the tax return comes, this thing is getting some huge work done to it. getting all brand new reo off mitsi japan, the engine comes out for a major service (hopefully will find the idle issue), FIX THE f**king BRAKES, after that blue slip for the new motor and box, then onto cosmetics, and pending dwaynes wife, will have new rims and the brembos on. also pending new job, will have it resprayed by the end of the year.
also, i'm having an issue with changing gears when cold, gave craig a call, he recons its a gear selector bracket or bar in the gearbox that may be worn. i thought it was the sh*tty "gearbox oil" that bennox put in it. more than likely my car is running off a case of james boags premium larger in the gearbox. in short, having problems getting it into first when going <5k's an hour, and on cold gears crunch, no matter how careful i am with my gear changes, or how grandma like i'm driving. so the gearbox will likely have to be pulled out (looks at bennoz)
other that that, she is running okay. trying not to drive her much though...
