tuning question

hey guys just need some help or guidence i've brought a tuning program called evoscan to read th ecu and diagnostic codes and i've brought the right cable. all this is ment to work in the fto but when i hook it all up and start the logging and reading i'm not getting a response from the ecu. has anyone used this program or mite be able to help me???

Is the engine light in the dash flashing when you plug the cable in?

Then you still need to ground pin 1 to let it work

You also need to set the baud rate to 15625 to get it to read properly

thanks guys for your help. so pretty much i just ground pin 1 and the program should work???
