anyone knows how many millage can an fto go? 300000/400000,.... with proper maintenance. what is the biggest k u seen so far?

im sure a fto can be over clocked, like go back to zero again?? i've seen it happen to my frnds shitbox

i got a 97 done 50 kms, thought it may have been overclocked. maybe it was parked in the shed for 5 years.... hmmm

nope, common practice for imports to have their clocks wound back before they get to us aussie owners.

also remember a lot less driving is done in Japan as opposed to Australia.... where as a 97 car in australia would more likely have done 140+

and sometimes its often the dealers here who wind back the clocks, as opposed to the agents in japan. the dealers here can do it, as there is no proof of service records etc, they cant get caught.

if you bought yours from an auction in japan, you should find the kms are more realistic.

You can't really wind back the KM on digital, cause it can be only set back to 0000000. So if you see an import with extremely low KM but its not a late year, & its a digital KM, then u know what it mean.

when i was looking for an FTO a guy was selling his for 11k cus it had 275k kms on it!!! GPX reguler maintanace no problems other then what you would expect for the milige (new discs etc)

though some GPX's even well maintaiend ones, will blow there engien aorund 80-120k kms
i have herd of a few but it seems to be VERY uncommon
