Somehow managed to run up the ass of a SUV today in Brisbane city - was only going less than 10 and was very very minor - no damage done to their car - just hit the towbar and it constrewed the box where the number plate goes and bent the bar behind it somehow that holds the bonnet catch in place.
Can hardly notice any damage, as the number plate hides most of the damage to the box, however the grill under it looks fucked (well....not neat we will say that) and would like a cheap front bumper to replace it if i could.
Moral of the story - dont sneeze while not paying attention
Im in brisbane, would pick it up, and am looking to spend less than 250, as i could get an aftermarket brand new one for around 280...(preferrably a facelift bumper as the older ones are UGLY imo), otherwise ill just have to live with it or waste more money fixing up my current one.

Re: In need of a front bumper
yea - more after a front bumper if i could - or depends how much a shop would charge me to get the bends out - theres no actual damage to the bumper itself apart from the box - which may be able to bend back - or be removed and is slightly out of alignment but nothing major - just the pole behind the grill that might be expensive as i cannot even move it a mm by myself.
just lucky it was an suv - no damage to their car and towbar was right height to avoid damage to anything major like the bonnet or engine.
their is a slight dent in the radiator but it doesnt seem to affect it at all.
So if anyone has an old bumper thats lying around in brisbane, or knows someone etc i can take it off your hands for cash.

Pre-facelift or facelift?
I have my pre-facelift front bumper sitting at DStocks.
Only has a minor scrape on the front passenger side.
Would be more than willing to sell for within your price range if interested, though you would have to organise shipping.
PM if interested.
