Dodgy eBay fto

Post by Taz »

was browsing ebay for an fto item, and came across this:
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Mitsu-FTO-tu ... 2a107ea651
Seems pretty dodgy to me - anyone here know who owns it or whats the go with it?
Says a 2.5 litre engine, but is a 95 FTO, seller hasnt listed the model, km's, no engine numbers/specs, previous owners or nothing and hasnt mentioned an engine conversion (which i would think would be a main selling point) for it to be this supposed 2.5 litre "quadcam" (LOL) monster...
sold without rego or RWC, and is very vague and hesitant to producing vital information about the car - especially selling it with no reserve - is it just me or is this a dodge job, and should be made weary of?

he likely just doesnt know its a 2.0L

the v6's are quad cam's though

the only 2.5 is the vr4 engine, which is twin turbo, ie, bennoz's motor

Well seeings is a p plate legal it means no turbo so can't be a 6a13tt so at most would be a 6a12 ported to 2.5l but no way to really tell if it has been or if he's talking sh*t

I saw this as well and as soon as I read turbo beating I was like lol talking sh*t abit ?
Also there's been a non payer so guessing there was something not right with car to discription

Some poor turbo cars can be beaten by gpvr/gpx (cant verify the gpx but i imagine it would) like a stock GTST, although 90% of turbo cars would pants it after the 100mph mark.
Just think this kid is another person trying to rip off a dumb ebayer by jazzing it up beyond what it is and by being vague, although this will most likely never work.

Lol.. FTO vs GTST again.. I can assure you, that this is not the case.. From owning a modified FTO and an R32 GTST, the FTO can not beat it.. Unless the GTST is a real bucket of sh*t.. And needs an engine transplant..

Beats Turbo cars.. Well maybe the old Charade Turbo.. Hehehe
I just had to add it ......

I talk a lot of sh*t, usually have to keep a roll of toilet paper handy in the car for my mouth
