Creative Sports front bar group buy

Post by JOA81 »

Ok I'm thinking of doing the same thing that dstocks did with his front bar but with a creative sports front bar but first I need to see how many people are interested in buying one

Most of the active Forum members already have dstocks front bar, unfortunately FTO Aus isn't that big and I think you will have trouble getting the numbers up.
But I wish you luck, it is such a nice bar and would be good to have a few more around Australia (though if i was you, i would just repair it and keep it to myself  mwahaha.)

Quick question. Replace the gap in your wing. Looks ridiculous.
And two, keep the bar to yourself, it's unique!

Seriously people, sometimes.

If you don't want to buy it don't post.
PM for a reason.

Shenal also has the worklog thread you can comment in for the rest of this dribble.
Dstocks has also been in contact and this is the end decision.

Yes my panties are in a knot right now, so feel my wraith or STFU.

haha, yeah, that too.

Shenal, the threads barely been online enough for people to see it yet.
Give it time, not everyone bought dstocks bar, and if they did, they may still want yours as it is just as unique.

Keep it up for a month, look at dstocks group buy thread, that went on for some time before the sales went through.
So don't give up just yet, you've only started!

i havent got a quot yet as im waiting to see if people want it yet
but i have taken it to a friend of mind and he said he could repair it but it would be hard and by the time he was finished he said it would be too heavy and brittle but i think he is lazy and just didnt want to work on it
i might try taking it to someone else but i dont know what type of place i need to go to to find someone that does fiberglass repairs i suppose i should just google it

Just look up fibreglassers in the yellow pages in your area. There should be a few.

      Hey,

Not very long ago i got my front bumper which I had sadly broke in half when i was reversing out of a driveway and someone thought it would be smart to put a rock there grr i got it repaired for 650 looks fantastic and they also fix the little scratches on the car but also gave the car a cut and polish :) If you find the right place you can get a really good price. The whole car is usually 1200 which is what i was told when i asked, my FTO didnt need it but i hope this helps :) Id deffs pay that much to fix up a beautiful FTO like yours :) its very unique!

Your best bet would be to find a fibreglasser who can do the job with quality and can give you the coats of primer ready to spray. Reason for this is if your getting a reapray, itll look a shitload better if you get it all done in the one place at the one time. Different guns and conditions can give different results and there would be nothing worse than a slightly off tone bar or skirts etc.
