k-sport suspension and general suspension question
hi guys,
one of my shocks(rear driver side) is really bumpy. Took out my wheel and saw the whole area was splashed with oil? anyone can tell me whats wrong? gonna go to pedders penrith to get it check and repair if possible coz i am running 18's and i think stock and aftermarket won't fit unless i give up my wheels.
does any one know any good workshop that does this and also able will help me set up ride height and damper etc...western sydney if possible.
btw, its a k-sport coilover.
thanks guys

Re: k-sport suspension and general suspension question
pretty sure theres a few guys running 18s on stock suspension
hell eddi had 19s not sure what suspension set up he had though or tyre profiles
the main seller might know of a place or they could fix them http://www.ksport.com.au/index.html

Are they still under warranty?
I have just bought a replacement insert from K-sport to fit my G4. I haven't fitted it yet but it certainly looks the part. Payed $200 for it.

Re: k-sport suspension and general suspension question
Pedders quoted me $756 for everything, i was kinda shocked. But I ring up Ksport and they say the insert cost $198 each.
so 2 of that + labour(including adjust ride height and all 4 dampers) + wheel alighment = $756

No offense here but you need to learn to do this sort of thing your self.
Not the wheel alignment but replacing the inserts. Easy as.

Re: k-sport suspension and general suspension question
As I mentioned re the bushes, you need a press for those. Happy to do them for you but you'd need to pull the arms out & give them to me to take to my workshop (ie a few days off the road.) Engine mount is no problem once my broken ribs heal lolAkys wrote:I dont mind getting my hands dirty. Re: k-sport suspension and general suspension question
Will do bennoz, I'll try to get the parts first. Probably just the engine mount as I dont really have anywhere to leave the car in undriveable condition for few days (campus security will start to harass. haha).
Let me know whenever your ribs heal. Btw, what happen to your ribs? to much G-force from your car
