Did you get the engine polished or is that just sprayed silver?

It's sprayed with heat proof silver

The only thing u may have to worry about is it scratching off if you paint it...

But yeah, if it is painted already, and not scratching, then as long as u prep it properly.. It should be fine.. But yeah, hard for me to say, as I never inspected it in person.. I am assuming the panther is air brushed..

ok i got the engine completely in today i just have a couple more hoses to put bradding on and a couple of things i have taken off to repaint and change after seeing it all together in the car
once i have got all that done i can put all the new fluids in a get it started im so pumped

o and yeah it was already painted rock_it so hopefully i should just be able to paint over it again well not me as such ill get a trimer to do it for me

not 100% sure i havent done a set in one yet and im only a 3rd year apprentice lol
and i manly work on mercs and bmws as i work at a merc specialist workshop
and i have only done like 2 sets of lifters in a renualt scenic and a bmw e36 lol
so yeah sorry i cant be of any help man

Thanx man ok I managed to finish all the bradded hosing today as i had to go buy more as I ran out yesterday and I painted the timing belt covers to match the engine

I can help you out with the gearbox drain if you want ive done it like 6 times now LOL
