from memory i had a valve replaced off a 4 cyl mitsi, not sure which one though, and a valve guide from a b6 mazda

gpx gasket kit shouldnt be too hard to get, someone else should be able to tell you where to go for that, i got mine from Mitsi direct

Valves are generic. If your workshop has trouble finding them, change workshop.

I got my Gasket set from camskill, and I too had trouble locating the valves, I had a couple fabricated for $80.00 each.

Theirs a engineering place up where I live.
You would have to take in one of your good valves into somewhere similar and ask if they can make another one, if you get really stuck I could probably get another made up for you.
But chances are you should be able to sort somthing out.

I'd be sourcing genuine valves or quality aftermarket units, this is not something you want to have made up by your local toolshop. In my experience, and Ben will probably back me up on this, most local toolshops haven't got a f**king clue what they're doing lol!

They are the same as E54A & E64A Galant. Shouldn't be too hard to find.

Yeah tool makers are a bit hit & miss with those sorts of things.

Fortunately a mate I went to school with is a qualified tool maker & he's made some up for me in the past (for my Mini) & its quite the science. Gotta use the right grade of steel to start with (and its a substantial list to pick from!) based on what material the head is made from & how the valve seats are done, then there's all the heat treating processes that are applied to the valve after its been cut from the block of source material. Plus once thats all done, just hope they got the measurements right! 1/2 a mil too long can end in disaster!

I can probably get genuine ones, but it would take from 2-3 weeks (japan currently on a week long holliday). I have got 3 engines in the shed if you are willing to go 2nd hand (blown head gaskets). The valves should be fine though.

Plus it will cost a shitload for them to make up just one valve, assuming they do do it right

Just click on the links I provided above and you'll have em in a week :D

Alright thanks for the suggestion guys, really helpful.
Dstocks: I called japan mitsubishi the other day and told them my situation.. they didn't turn me down but instead of that they replied me "usually the parts take 3-4 weeks to deliver but it's gonna be 6-8 weeks or longer since natural disaster hit us"... speechless man..

shane001: thanks for the links, i will probably e-mail camskill about that!!

Have managed to get the lower head off one that contains 6 inlet and 6 outlet valves. If you want new ones, I can order them, but Japan is on hollidays until the 4th May, so wont get an answer before then re price and how long it will take. Have sent you a PM as well
