ANGEL EYES FAIL (dstock)

OK so i tried to install my angel eyes that been sitting in the garage for 1.5 years now. everything was fine and i manage to squeeze in a service. so after ive done the service i decided to attach the headlights. took as much stuff as i can before i put it in the oven.

ok so this is where everything when horribly bad! I followed the instruction put in the oven on 150degrees for 10mins... but 7 mins into it i noticed the lights starting to melt so i quickly took them out as i was lifting it off the tray the bottom part melted and got stuck to the oven tray.

Dwayne of you are reading this can you please pm me regarding a spare passenger side headlight?

ok i still want to install these in the future so where did i go wrong?

sounds like you had it way too hot!

i think i only had mine at 100 degrees. better be safe and wait a bit longer than risk something like that!

also double check you didnt have it on grill or fan force....

agreed, but next time try 300 deg for 5 mins double the speed

Should be 100 degrees for 15 minutes. I believe it works at about 80 degrees as well (others have said this). But leave it in at 100 for more than 15 minutes and theyll melt as well. I have a passengers headlight.
