This list right?

Post by payaya »

Hey,

The below link states the FTO uses the same outer CV as certain Magnas??

http://www.ultracheapauto.com.au/old/uc ... HBISHI.htm

Don't want to use the Ebay version, as its def made in China and I wanted to pick up a Protex one tomorrow hopefully.

Anyone confirm the list??

The boot is the same as a galant but nothing said about the joint being the same. According to that list it's different.

How do you get the outer joint off? Tried bashing the outer housing off for a while and nothing happened!

Guess you need to bash it harder?

I know the inner seal is 50mm outer splines is 25 what is the inner spline count??

Seems different everywhere! Some say 24 others 23. 23 is what the HJ Galants use.

I measure 50mm for the inner seal? Why 54? Isn't the bearing seal the diameter of circle part near the outer spines?

The rear wheel bearings / hubs I just ordered were made in China, but guess where Mitsubishi get them? Even had the MDxxxxxx part number stamped on them direct from the manufacturer. It aint all bad! :)
