If the fan is still coming on when you turn the A/C on, it wont be the fan. Sounds electrical, like a solenoid or relay...

Geeze people if both fans turn on at any time they are fine. If you are at speed the termos does sh*t anyway.

You have a blockage problem if your hard heats up when at speed. Your radiator is blocked or your thermostat is stuck closed.

Pull the thermostat out and reverse flush your radiator and I the problem should go away hopefully!!!

Tape your missus to the front of the car, cut a window in your bonnet and get her to gently fan your engine as you drive.

hahaha you gave me a laugh... gotta have a MRS to do that Lol So just got back from Race and Track services Cavan ( Adelaide ) turns out it is the bloody gauge, they were testing it and when it was recording 3/4 on the temp gauge it was hitting around 80c which actually is well below half-way so my temp gauge is errattic and i have that booked in for Wednesday next week to get recalibrated!! See if that was the issue.. To be continued.. Cheers all for your input was very helpful :P

Nah, beg to differ here, one fan is for the radiator and one is for the aircon.
